Formaldehydiliuos, Formaliini
Etiketti on vuoden 1956 farmakopean mukainen. Tämä väkevä formaldehydiliuos sisältää noin 35 % formaldehydiä sekä noin 13 % metanolia. Kirkas, väritön neste. Haju pistävä, ominainen, ärsyttää nenän ja nielun limakalvoja. Sekoittuu kaikissa suhteissa veteen ja spriihin.
Säilyttäminen: hyvin suljetussa pullossa 10 astetta korkeammassa lämpötilassa valolta suojattuna.
E.Merckin valkoinen muovikorkki ja muovinen tiivisterengaskin on säilynyt, vaikkei ole ollutkaan formaliinissa
